Admission for Foreign Students

Required Documents:

(1) Application form(online)

(2) Study plan (Bachelor)/Research proposal (master or doctoral program’s applicant only) 

(3) Highest degree’s transcript (vertified by a ROC overseas representative office)

(4) Highest degree’s deploma (vertified by a ROC overseas representative office)

(5) Two recommendation letters (different reference, free format)

(6) Financial statement (balance at least $3,000USD)

(7) English certificate (TOEFL/IELTS/TOEIC)

(8) Chinese language certificate (TOCFL)

(9) Passport

(10) Other support documents (optional)

Remark: Please submit English translation if documents not wrote in Chinese or English.

1. Bachelor degrees’ program (Non-full English programs) will be taught in Chinese. Applicants should have Chinese proficiency level at least TOCFL A2 or above;The bachelor of Veterinary Medicine should have Chinese proficiency level at least TOCFL B1 or above. 

2. Full English program should have English proficiency level at least CEFR B1 or above. 

3. Non-full English of Master and doctoral program will be taught in Chinese or tailor to English, students should have either TOCFL A2 or CEFR B1

at least $3,000USD

The NPUST Admission results will be released at NPUST Online Application System: https://courseeng.npust.edu.tw/Admission/

<Tuition Refund Standards>

(1) Students who apply for suspension or withdrawal before the registration date (inclusive) shall be exempted from paying the fee; those who have already paid the fee will be fully refunded.

(2) Students apply for leave and withdrawal from the day after the registration date to the day before the school start date. For those who adopt the tuition and miscellaneous fee system, two-thirds of the tuition fee, miscellaneous fees and all other fees will be refunded; for those who adopt the credit-based tuition and miscellaneous fee system, two-thirds of the base tuition and miscellaneous fees, credit fees, and all other fees will be refunded.

(3) Students apply for suspension or withdrawal after the class (starting) day (inclusive) but less than one-third of the semester.
For those who adopt the tuition and miscellaneous fee system, two-thirds of the sum of tuition and miscellaneous fees and other fees will be refunded;
for those who adopt the system of credit-based tuition and miscellaneous fees, two-thirds of the sum of credit fees, tuition and miscellaneous fee bases, and other fees will be refunded.

(4) Students who apply for a leave of absence or drop-out after one-third of the semester, but not two-thirds of the semester,
For those who adopt the tuition and miscellaneous fee system, one-third of the sum of tuition and miscellaneous fees and other fees will be refunded;
for those who adopt the system of credit-based tuition and miscellaneous fees, one-third of the sum of credit fees, tuition and miscellaneous fee bases, and other fees will be refunded.

(5) All fees paid by students who apply for suspension or withdrawal after two-thirds of the semester will not be refunded.
