The Office of International Affairs (OIA)
The OIA Missions:
- Promote international exchange and cooperation
- Assist the university’s diverse academic units with matters related to international exchange and cooperation
- Manage sister-school relations
- Manage international student affairs
The OIA also serves as contact window for the Ministry of Education Taiwan Education Center in Thailand and is the Secretariat of the University Network for Tropical Education (UNTA).
Education Division
- Manages general affairs of international students
- Handles admissions, admission applications, and scholarship assignments for international students
- Manages student affairs for overseas Chinese students, students from Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China and students in the Overseas Youth Vocational Training School
- Overseas affairs related to student exchanges with Mainland China
- Conducts evaluation work
Cooperation Division
- Makes travel arrangements for university officials
- Receives international visitors and foreign VIPs
- Manages agreements and contracts with foreign sister-schools
- Overseas affairs related to exchange students and short-term overseas study groups
- Overseas business related to the Green University Project
- Serves as contact window for the University Network for Tropical Agriculture (UNTA).
- Handles matters related to the Southern District Technical College Alliance (International Cooperation Committee)
Development Division
- Promotes international academic exchange and cooperation
- Serves as contact window for special programs and technical classes for foreign students
- Manages the Taiwan Education Center in Thailand
- Manages the New Southbound Project
