The program aims to strengthen academic exchange and cultivate future talents from New Southbound Policy partner countries through immersive study and cultural experiences in Taiwan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The application deadline is <strong>June 21, 2026<\/strong>, and the program will be held from <strong>September 7, 2026 to January 8, 2027<\/strong>, offering participants a unique opportunity to study at one of Taiwan\u2019s leading universities in agriculture and sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This program is open to <strong>sophomore and above undergraduate students, as well as master\u2019s students<\/strong>, from universities in New Southbound Policy countries who are interested in pursuing a semester of academic and cultural learning in Taiwan. Participants are required to complete <strong>at least 12 credits in agricultural-related courses<\/strong>, along with comprehensive <strong>Chinese language training<\/strong> designed to enhance both academic and daily communication skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NPUST is internationally recognized for its strengths in <strong>agriculture, animal science, fisheries, and environmental sustainability<\/strong>, providing students with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on learning experiences. In addition to academic coursework, the program also features <strong>monthly off-campus visits<\/strong>, allowing participants to explore Taiwan\u2019s diverse culture, industries, and local communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To support students throughout their stay, NPUST offers a comprehensive package including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Round-trip economy class airfare subsidy (up to NTD 20,000)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full tuition waiver (including Chinese language courses)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monthly scholarship of NTD 8,000<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On-campus dormitory accommodation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medical insurance coverage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organized cultural and educational field visits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Through this program, students will not only gain professional knowledge but also develop cross-cultural understanding and build lasting international connections.
